people are going to want to see the console sometime though....someone pointed out too that they were hesistant to use the word console yet they pointed out it clearly wasn't a portable system, and the games clearly have HD that (though the exact resolution is unknown) is clearly more than the Wii itself is capable of

ok, Reggie said it is a new console; it is 1080p he said

tablet controller is HD, will be an internet browser....interesting to see how though, they've tried that one in the past

Edit to an earlier post: the kid Icarus multiplayer isnt 3 player, it's 3 on 3 player (so 6 player)

More on the Playstation Vita

E3 2011: More PlayStation Vita Details - IGN

Some more information about the PlayStation Vita was released via the Official PlayStation Blog via a FAQ, but some of the info provided actually raises more questions than it answers.

Firstly, the Vita will have a staggered launch across multiple territories, with everyone seeing the system by the end of the year. No details were given on where it would launch first or any specific dates.

Information about the 3G model was also sketchy, with Sony failing to provide an actual answer to their own question about whether the system would be sold in cell phone retailers or whether consumers would have to pay for an AT&T data plan.

Other vague details include the possibility of Flash and PDF reading functionality, how many games will fit on the "new game medium," which hasn't been named yet, and how much the games will cost.

Meh I did this last year (like this....only, I do have to admit it probably wasnt this much http://www.volnation.com/forum/gaming/102874-e3-2010-a.html probably because I missed the first day)

I've always enjoyed E3 and seeing all the new reveals and the advances in technology, especially gaming. Also I really have nothing better to do this week till friends get back in from out of town next weekend....unless I want to like clean the house again

If noone on the board watched the NFL draft, you'd see me similarly be the the majority participant in such a thread; they're near equal levels
