So now we are calling Neyland's game maxims a list that "isn't special at all".

That's like saying "don't run a stop sign" isn't so special a rule of driving because they teach at the beginning of driver's education class.

I just saw a clip on SportsCenter that showed Coach Cutcliffe's pre-Belk Bowl locker room pep talk. He has The General's game maxims on a big sign with the Blue Devils logo and Duke Football at the bottom. Not sure how I feel about that...

What bothered me is that it wasn't attributed to The General at all. It just says Duke Football at the bottom. At least give credit where credit is due...
