Take Nolan Smith and Andre Dawkins out of the equation and they have Ivy League level athleticism.

I saw that. Doug is about the only honest analyst they have left. Everyone else is too busy trying to be every coaches' buddy. I'm just glad I haven't had to hear from that fool Tom Brennan yet.And Gottlieb killed them. Jay Williams had no real response.

A large number of media guys are invested in hyping Singler. They all made ridiculous comparisons between he and Laettner and Ferry. Thus, they have to pass him off as excellent or look silly.I don't get all the Singler love. He's soft, shoots too much and enamored with the 3. I'd rather see both Plumlees, healthy, on the floor.

I was sitting in one of the bars at the MGM the summer after Sendek left Raleigh. I had two coaches whose teams are currently in the Top 10 tell me that mistake would set State back 10 years. Looks like that's about right.Yes. I'm no Sendek fan, but that trade was epically poor.

NC State people act like they're victims in that situation. They're just stunned Sendek got tired of hearing their whining and crying about the glory days of Sloan and Valvano, both of whom landed them in the 'AA slammer. They wanted someone who "got" what NC State was all about. Sid Lowe is what they deserve.I just don't understand it. Who thought that was a good enough trade to pull the trigger?

Many people do mature from their youthful irresponsibilities. Yesterday Doug gave thanks to Eddie Sutton for picking him up and supporting him following his Notre Dame experiences. He said Eddie is a "great coach and a great man" and is the only coach with 800 wins not in the Hall of Fame.Except when he is stealing credit cards from teammates. He is from my hometown and is regarded as a prick.
