Is Duke out of basketball for good. I heard that he was having a heart problem that would possibly sideline hime for good.

It's a possibility, but I think he'll be back.

According the Marc Maggard on the scout board who knows someone with the program personally... it's not as serious as some Vol fans are making it out to be and he will return for sure. I don't know the exact quote but he said that some rumors were going around saying it was career threatening but it isn't and he'd be back shortly.

Given the nature of medical privacy laws, we probably won't hear anything until Duke has received multiple opinions and a decision has been made.

Duke and I went to the same high school. I was so happy when he chose to play for the Vols. I was at his graduation because my sister graduated the same year. When his name was called I was yelling go Vols.

I really hope for the best for Duke. You can tell the young man loves to play basketball, and he was really starting to come into his own. If it comes down that he will no longer be able to play I'm sure he'll be heartbroken. It is always sad to see a talented young man sidelined by a condition he has no control over, but I'm just glad our doctors/physicians/trainers found this early on so that nothing happens to his health.

SO when do the test come back that state whether he'll be able to play bball or not?
or how bad his condition actually is?
