Spurrier just completed his 4th season in Columbia, and finished 7-5. How does that make South Carolina more likely to win games than Tennessee?

Further, that just completed the most successful 4-year run in South Carolina history! Think about that for a minute...no coach in South Carolina history has won more games over a 4-year span than Spurrier just did -- and he only won 28! That's fewer than Fulmer won over the past 4 years - a 4-year span that was one of the worst in Tennessee history.

I'll gladly take our chances for success with Kiffin over your chances with Spurrier.

Also, what is your record against Clemson? Wow, I live in SC but grew up in Tn and graduated from UT and don't know how you guys can live in your own state with a losing record like that to your in-state rival. And how many bowls have you been to compared to UT? Wow!, no championships, ever at USuC. :salute:

I was born and raised near Columbia. I have always been a Clemson fan but will say USC fans are loyal but selling out a stadium when you go 0-12 I guess if u go 7-5 things are looking ok lol. USC will never be the caliber of tenn because every kid that is any good comming out of high scool wants to get out of there. I know. USC should stop thinking about beating tn when Clemson spanks them every year.

Good call there. Spurrier, much like Fulmer, is living on the glory of years past. At a different school, no less. You still have Spurrier; we have upgraded. Significantly.

Pop back in next year after Kiffin and the Vols wipe the field with your team. USCe has to show up. The question is: will you?

And by the way Carolina fans, look up Oku and then look at the stellar headjob that just committed to your school. I don't even miss him. Seriously. I pray to watch your program implode with a personality like that in your backfield.

Also, I know all you Carolina fans would like to be come a permanent rival of UT, but you're not. You don't qualify. Our program's tradition and history runs much deeper and is far more notable than anything Spurrier could ever dream of doing with Carolina. Instead of coming here stinking up our board with all of your bird turds, you should instead pray that your beloved coach doesn't drop you for Auburn. It would make much more sense for Spurrier to coach at Auburn than continue wasting his time with you losers.

Spurrier: viewed as a savior in columbia, because even though they still can't beat any good teams, they go to a minor bowl every now and then. Spurrier's gone in 2 years after more losses.

I've said it on this board many times, but it's worth repeating. Clemson fans are 5000x more realistic and reasonable than USClight fans.

The Cock fans on the radio here this a.m. are all over Giles. He's just what USuC needs. Spurrier is building a great foundation. He's a legend, just ask Giles. If their D stars don't go pro, things are looking up next year. Garcia will be awesome next year, blah, blah, blah. Same tune, different cycle for the Cocks.

Meanwhile, I wait with patience until UT again asserts its dominance over these tools.

Giles signed with SCjr because he saw the opportunity to play early =, there just weren't any other real SEC caliber running backs in your stable. You are correct about one thing, his being smart, you are incorrect about the reason. He is not going there because he or any one else believes UT is washed up (that's lunacy) he went because your program has small conference quality backs (at best).

Keep believing you are on your way to being a factor in the conference. I'm sure it's a tradition there, after all your team has been trying to be a factor for three generations now.
