It's funny yall are picking on Carolina or being 7-5, yeah we had a bad year and we lost some games we shouldnt, but atleast were not 5-7. I would rather take a trip to Tampa, that not be able to go anywhere at all. Carolina has a lot of young talent and got a lot more coming in. We might not have the history as yall do but as of right now, our program can only go up, times are changing. We finally got good facilities and recruiting is showin it. Yall act like are so good, but as of right now Carolina is better than Tennessee, and were only going to get better. Have fun over Christmas

At 7-5, haven't you already reached the pinnacle for your pathetic little program? It appears the only way for you to go is down. See the last 100 years or so of Cock futility for supporting evidence.

LOL...since Spurrier joined in 2005 his record is 28-21.
Fulmer same time period is 29-21.

One just got fired and the other is considered a God.

I just think its funny that where going to a new years day bowl, but your bashing us and tennessee isnt going anywhere. I dont understand it. Upgrade bowl? haha

Tennessee is one year removed from going to the SEC Championship game. South Carolina is 39 years removed from winning its last (and only) conference title, which happened when they were a part of the ACC.

Who's not going anywhere again?

Hahahahahahaha. You continue to impress me. I think we could be friends. You guys are acting like Jesus himself just invited you to a bowl game when we were in the outback bowl twice in the past few years and were disappointed to be there.

Spurrier has also taken them to lavish bowl sites such as lovely downtown Memphis and Shreveport Louisiana. Oh the heights of success that we are missing out on.

Your only going to a New Years Day bowl because the rest of the conference is down. So really, you are going by default. Any other year, 7-5 would have had you on the bubble for a bowl. If you want to brag about 7-5, go ahead.

How many years has the ball coach been there? How many trips to Atlanta has he made with the Cocks for an SEC championship? That is what I thought. Your coach is officially going to be on the hot seat early next year. I take that back. S.Carolina accepts mediocrity, so he is safe. Put up your banner for you 7-5 season.

What people dont understand is before Spurrier got their our program and facilities where horrible, and now the facilities are becoming one of the best in the sec. Spurrier is doing alot more for Carolina than people think. It takes time to fix a program that was in the crapper. He has done so much outside of football its rediculous. Spurrier will win at Carolina. Now that our facilities updated, we are ready to compete. Yes Tennessee has a great past and is a great football program. But yall have no idea what Spurrier has for Carolina. Now that he is recruiting well, its only a matter of time before Spurrier gets to were he wants to be. Spurrier will win!

Don't give them any ideas. They might pass out rings too.

This was part of Drayton's interview and he failed it, miserably. He supposedly told Giles to have a "plan B" in place not knowing that he, Drayton, may be retained by the new Kiffin regime. I hope for Stan's sake that he has a "plan B' for himself. Both coach and player are the ultimate "me first" guys and the Vols are better off without either.

let me reiterate (read below)

how does 21-4-2 sound? that's the overall record, guy.

get out of here cock-roach and come back when you have won something of worth (that does not include equestrian)

this should put it in perspective for you (assuming you can follow, not sure about that though)

We've lost to SCarolina 4 times total. EVER. 2 of the last 3 times we lost, our coach was fired afterwards. That's how bad your "program" is. Run along now, recess is over.
uh, bye bye. :eek:k:

You can't spell sucks without USC by the way...I really hate trolls

Intelligent trolls with good teams I hate. This emergence of USCeast trolls recently has been a riot. I really hope they stick around until next year.

That's pretty funny right there.

Btw, Spurrier's record this year is the same as his first. But yeah, he's doing a hell of a lot to improve.

All I can think of is Jarvis Giles must not know much about SEC history, One school is in a slump and on there way back and the other School has never ever had any success. Never won a SEC title, never sniffed a Nat title and has never even been to a significant bowl of any kind. Have fun in the land of cocks and mediocre Athletics, maybe he thought the fight for playing time here would be a lot tougher.

To Rock Bottm and his 6 posts:

Definition of troll -

1. a dwarf or giant in Scandinavian folklore inhabiting caves or hills

2. to move around or ramble

3. someone from USCLite who shows up on VN to make random comments about his team (usually delusional and usually ihateorange) and talks of how bad TN really is. Typically has no d*#k and no balls. Also referred to as female genitalia or other word used for cat. Lastly, never shows up on VN after their team goes 7-5 once again.

The interesting thing to think about is whether Giles will even have an offensive line to block for him. We'll see how it works out. Best of luck to him, but I am not heartsick that he is not coming here. Can't wait for Lennon Creer to show Giles how its done next year.

Reaves can make up all these lies and Kiffin can go ahead and show every player a video of Reggie Bush and tell the player there going to be like bush. What a joke. Giles was smart and made a good choice. Tennessee is going down hill. Lane kiffin thinks he is going to get all these great players just b/c he coached at southern cal, fyi kiffin.....you dont have pete carroll any more. Spurrier owns the vols and will continue to do so, he wooped yall on the field, and now he is taking ur players! Sad day for vol fans, but lane kiffin is going to make yall national champions right? haha riiiiggghhhttt.....27-6

Really. What does USCe know about winning? Your program is sad at best. I think the proof lies in your effort against Clemson. Yes, you did get us this year, congrats on that one. What about the overall record? Your program thinks that 7-4 is an awsome season, sorry if your standards are so much lower than VolNation. Congrats on getting Giles, but do not expect much from him in your sorry program.

I'm ignoring all of the stuff about Spurrier winning at South Carolina, because so far we've seen no evidence of that happening - ever.

As for the facilities, didn't a newspaper in Columbia publish an article about USC's terrible facilities compared to the rest of the SEC? I just about laughed when I read this part of your post.

We just fired a coach who had us in the SEC championship game last year. When was the last time your team played in that one. Oh yeah, that's right, never. You're thrilled with 7-5. Better than anything else that demonstrates the difference between our programs. Come back when you have some success on the field. By the way, nice ending to the regular season, b**** stomped by Clemson who, let's see, fired their coach this year too.

Sometime "facilities" is synonymous with bathroom. There is no doubt that the SC program has spent a majority of its SEC history in the crapper.
