With only one DT commit in the ‘23 class, and none so far in the ‘24 class, how concerned are you? Heard is listed as a DT, but I don’t think it’s a certainty that he stays there. You can’t win at the highest level without very good d-line play, and I’d hate to overrely on the portal. It’s a bit perplexing how we haven’t been able to recruit this position with more success given CRG’s reputation.

There were 3 potential DTs in the 23 class. Hobbs, big Nate, and Trevor Duncan

Hobbs, Weathersby, Duncan, Robinson plus the transfer Lott from ASU for 2023 are all Dlineman. So it was actually 5 last year

There’s five months left to go before early signing day and a lot of new names and commit shuffling that is going to happen between now and then.

Freak out in November and only if we’re having a poor season, because otherwise we’ll be fine.

Not every kid can handle CRG's coaching!
And THATS the key! Very good coach, but a bit passed his prime. The younger generation simply cannot handle RG's tough love coaching. Theyd rather go elsewhere, make some NIL $, and be coddled for 2-3 years.

A guy who tells kids the plain truth is never past his prime.

So far, he has taken what he's had at DT and DE and produced effective line play. The LEO has been underwhelming at times but that looks better now.

He's a guy who develops and gets everything a kid has.

Garner is old school and doesn’t believe in babying young adults.

Personally, that’s the biggest problem in todays generation. They want stuff handed to them without ever having to work for it.

I just watched two talking orangeheads on here this week specifically breaking down our DL room. According to these two yo-yos, who know much more than this yo-yo, we seem to be loaded right now at DL. Said Garner likes to rotate 3-4 platoons of four each game for specific down-and-distance, etc. game situations. Said he could do that this fall.

That said, I’d be concerned if we didn’t chase every DL we believe could take us to the next level, no matter how many we have.

We have one of the higher numbers of DLINEMAN in the SEC this season.

We'll obviously get some guys for 2024, but guys like Nwaneri and Franklin could really put us toward better ...results.

If I had a dime for everytime I've read the word "concern/concerned" on here, I could buy Neyland Stadium...

...and, that's just since Heupel has been here.

Truly unbelievable how oblivious some of you are. Even Stephen King could not imagine up the struggle your daily lives must be.

Clearly they don’t have a job or they’re miserable with themselves most likely.

Yep, and we are only going to get better up front. No worries at all! GBO
