For commerce to be successful it requires a semblance of security, people tend not to invest their capitol in volatile areas. If our borders were open and without control we would be flooded with bad actors causing chaos.

I don’t buy that at all. Bad actors don’t cross state borders constantly seeking to create chaos. Why would this be different?

A few years ago the TV cameras were at the border showing hordes of kids crossing into the US - welcome wagon was even there passing out water and probably forms for welfare and driver's licenses (to the older ones). The kids didn't look like they'd walked across a desert - weren't visibly dirty or malnourished - probably because the buses were parked just outside camera range.

Didn't look like their parents brought them. So the question: are they "dreamers"? They don't fit the definition that parents brought them and they had no say in the matter. How do you tell the "legitimate" dreamers from these fakes? Does anybody potentially running the show even care? And why weren't the sponsoring organizations ever identified and stopped?

Hell, no. I'm more along the line of bombing Mexico and the rest of Central America back to the stone age and sending all their imports back to see if they can develop it right this time. Seriously doubt it though despite all the nonsense about the work ethic and what they add to our population and economy.
