I understand. It just sounded as if the lifeguard did nothing and you had to step in. I really do hope the child makes it. Glad you were there to do what you could.

I didn't do much but you are suppose to treat situations as a neck injury and put them on a backboard to get them out of the pool. IMO that wasn't the case and the resuscitation took too long. I don't know the details but bad way to start the vacay. I was telling her to get him out. ASAP

Cheers, brah! Ruined my buzz but the parameds were doing a good job but were still doing chest compressions on top of the stretcher. After that brain damage occurs.
/ end story but that's life and death.

3, they updated the story after I posted it. The first version talked about the kid being found at the pool, didn't mention any family, and said there was no update on the condition.

After the little one goes to bed I am getting whiskey'd up. If I don't die from too much work I will be around. I have a full bottle of Chattanooga Whiskey waiting on me.

Thanks for the update. Horrible situation . I watched it and these stories are fabricated. Rip he had been worked on so long brain damage was imminent.
