I guess those hippies in the trees will get their way because Cal football became totally irrelevant, again.

I was thinking of going to personally cut down the trees myself after this loss, until I realized we don't even have the Axe anymore. This has been the worst eight weeks of my life.

Wow. They were 5-0 going into October.

Since: 1-6.

:zeitung_lesen:
We did this eleven years ago too. With Mariucci. 5-0, downslide started with a stunning loss at home, ended with a loss to the 'Furd.

And we were 5-0 two years ago, before Maurice Jones-Drew ran all over us and we stumbled to 7-4. Maybe we should have lost to you guys, it would have been better for us long-term.

yeah i know about all that. I wasn't speaking of this time around. I expect them to mend things up sometime in the future.

No, actually there's some serious beef there, and 2 weeks ago he already eliminated himself from this current search.

ESPN - Numbers the major point in Harbaugh-Michigan crossfire - Columnist
Harbaugh would probably be capable of a few good upsets, so you'd beat Florida, Alabama, and LSU every now and then. And you'd have a few perplexing defeats. I'd say he'd go 6-6 to 8-4 every year at Tennessee.

And you seriously can't be the Bills of CFB. You won a title a decade ago. As a Bills fan we take great pride in our total lack of winning anything.

The Bills are most known for losing those four straight Super Bowls.

And don't hate on Harbaugh just because beat your team, with less talent.

If he can beat USC and Cal in the same year at Stanford, he could do better than 8-4 at UT.

My point about the Bills stands. Tennessee has a national championship, Buffalo doesn't. I don't understand the comparison.

Oh, I'm not, but I've watched plenty of Stanford this year. They still lost to Notre Dame and got beat up by Wazzu and UW. And I'd say they're still in the bottom tier.

I'm not even trying to defend my team. They're a shell right now. They haven't played good ball in months.

All I care about are SEC championships; national titles are great, but satifaction comes with a conference crown. We're 0-3 in our last 3 visits to the SECCG. That's hardly equal to the Bills four straight, but comparable still the same.

my hat's off to you hat. you were right. he obviously is a darn good coach. 4 wins doesn't seem impressive to outsiders, but those of us who closely follow stanford seriously consider this one of the best coaching jobs of the season. i'm not sure there is a single first day draft pick on that roster. our team completely quit on the season. his with nothing to play for, with at least a half a dozen starters out, played with intensity and heart. you were right. . . i was wrong.

You weren't necessarily wrong, there was reason to be skeptical of Harbaugh. I simply felt his lineage and personality would overcome his inexperience.
