Outside of the 3 or four usual suspects in the Big 10 replace the cupcakes with any of the rest of the Big and see what happens lol.

Ya know, I used to have that same feeling about Vandy each year.
Vandy is unfortunately better this year. 🤦 More mature, more disciplined, more fundamentally sound. They remind of the old Wake Forest teams loaded w 5th yr Seniors each who stuck it out w the program to play and succeed later in their careers. Plus a dynamic QB that supercharges them.

With 9 SEC games next year Danny should drop and replace the GT game. Scheduled a cupcake for the replacement. Some of the other SEC schools are doing the same. I know Bama just dropped USF and replaced them with Chattanooga. Give yourself a level playing field with rest of the conference.
You are getting soft Ernest T Bass!!

Not sure we can just assume any win, especially one on the road vs a solid team.
I agree we can't assume a win. We can't just assume a loss, either, though. I am pretty confident that we will beat Georgia Tech next season. They lose an AWFUL lot more than we do and I think we are at least comparable if not better than they are this year. If not for our seeming inability to diagnose a running QB, I'd say we are definitely better this year. As a general statement, ACC teams do not concern me that much. Syracuse had a similar year last year to Ga Tech this year. They also lost a lot of their production and we see how that ended up. In my opinion, our most concerning game next year is @A&M, followed by Bama and Texas, then LSU. @South Carolina could be tricky if it is a night game and we will see how Auburn looks.

It’s Tech’s Home game. They chose to play in Dodd to keep the Orange out.
I didn’t know that was decided. I was sure they’d play at MB. Im excited it’s at Dodd. It should be.

Tech will be a game for about a half and then we'll pull away significantly. 38-17

They don't have the depth or Haynes King next year. My guess is their OC moves on as well. This year was the pinnacle of Ga Tech football and they didn't really beat anyone.

Like others have said- it's good to have the Big Orange represented in the fertile recruiting grounds of Atlanta.

Tennessee might go 3-9 next year for all you know. Even Kentucky could beat UT and I wouldn't be surprised.

Heupel needs to get his head out of his ass...pronto
Well, there is absolutely nothing in Josh Heupel's history that would suggest his team will go 3-9 or anywhere close to it, but if you set your expectations really low it leaves very little room for disappointment I suppose.
