We just call it a-hole. So many variations on that game. Best card, 2 best cards, etc. 3 wins to make a rule, one.
What variations did you all play?

I always forgot the rules after the game because I was hammered, lol. I think it was whoever got rid of all their cards first was president and could make others drink whenever. The person with most cards left had to wear a hat and was basically the ***** for that hand.

President gets the ***hole's two best cards. Vice President gets the vice ***hole's 1 best card. Then everyone else just sits in the order they went out, first to last. President can make anyone drink. Vice Prez can make anyone but the Prez drink, and so on. Each hand a President can make a rule

3 cards face down in front of you. 3 more face up on top of those. 3 cards in your hand to start and the rest in a draw pile. The object is to get rid of all your cards first but if there is still a draw pile you must have at least 3 in your hand. And you can't touch the face down or face up cards in front of you until the cards in your hand are gone. But before you play you can swap your face up cards with the cards in your hand if you want. It plays kinda like ***hole in that you play a card that's the same or higher than the one in the discard pile. Once the draw pile is gone you can use the face up cards in front of you. When those are gone you can pick a card from the face down one's, but you can't look. If it's higher, you're fine. If not, you pick up the pile. There are a few more rules but I don't feel like writing anymore
