Drew Richmond news?

The individual is doing exceptionally well.Expectations have been exceeded many times over, still has a lot to learn, pad level too high, lack of leadership, lack of maturity, lack of mental toughness, lack of competitive nature. Otherwise we're good to go.

So many Butchism's in one sentence... I think my head is going to explode.

As of right now Kerbyson seems to have the LT spot locked up. And Drew is a natural LT. I would assume we see him as the #2 behind Kerbyson unless he gets moved to RT but I don't see that happening.

Once Kerberyson struggles which will happen... look for Richmond to take over

DR has been practicing at RT, he supposedly is looking pretty good in drills. Hall is also working some at tackle, but if DR does well enough he may start at RT. Kendrick has improved a lot, but does not have that position locked down by a longshot

When the pads go on we will begin to see what Coach Majors called the wheat separating from the chaff

I am really suprised about Hall. That guy is solid as a rock. Reminds me a little of Jaws from the James Bond movies.

Feeling better @ the future of OT w/ those 2 on board.

I still feel a RS year would be super beneficial to Richmond but the way our tackles played last year idk if we can keep a RS on him. Plus injuries and stuff like that. I wonder how Kendrick would be at LT and Richmond at RT??

Chance Hall is # 2 behind Kerbyson at LT.

Richmond has never played LT on any level

If DR should look good enough at RT ... might Kendrick get some looks at LT? I could have sworn he played some LT vs. Bama last year. :dunno:

Kerbyson at LT and Robertson at RG are two that are pretty much locked into those positions. It would take a move of Kerbyson to RG for either to be moved.

Thomas worked at right tackle yesterday.

Robertson took some center snaps yesterday.

look for the OL positions to be nailed down in about 10 days. the next 10 days will be lots of shuffling around to see who might be able to handle certain spots in the event of injuries.

Agree with this. Week 3, 4 or 5. Kerbyson simply is not a LT...Richmond is. A much more talented, naturally gifted LT and it's just a matter of time IMO.

Because guys in their late 30s get worried for 27.3 seconds till they read the 1st paragraph of a thread. Then worry turns to anger "how dare you upset me like that".

I'm not sure they're in their late 30s; I'd speculate mid-20's to early 30s. Just a guess though. Typically late 30s have 4-7 year-olds and their hands are pretty full. Plus their wife is saying, "Hey its Saturday, when are you going to __________" (fill in the blank).
