With all the hype going around about Kahlil and Shy, has there been any news on how Drew Richmond and the rest of the O-line is progressing?

Any guesses as to what the starting lineup for the O-Line will look like week 1?

From what I've seen Drew Richmond is exceeding expectations with small improvements that need to be made to pad level and hand technique. The practice reports I've seen have said that he is doing very well and IMO will definitely be in the two deep. He may even start possibly.

There's some info on the oline, and mentions of drew in the practice update threads.

Freak, can we get the guidelines thread updated so that is against the rules to start threads with just players names?

2 week ban for 1st offense

1 month ban 2nd offense

Lifetime ban for 3rd offense

JMO, either that or ya need to somehow incorporate a nitro button for the chest pains they inflict!

There was a comment or two who observed he'd held his own pretty well against Mckenzie...looked especially encouraging aft r the way Mckenzie destroyed Austin sanders

The individual is doing exceptionally well.Expectations have been exceeded many times over, still has a lot to learn, pad level too high, lack of leadership, lack of maturity, lack of mental toughness, lack of competitive nature. Otherwise we're good to go.

I think it's fun to open a "player name only" thread. Kind of like a Jack-in-the-box. Or, a box of chocolates.

It's been reported by several that he is battling for spot at RT. Butch is a proponent of this move. RT would give him less to deal with and then thoughts are he'd battle for LT spot next year.

Hyams report I posted this AM did and LWS and others have mirrored those comments. RT battle for Richmond. Staff love his upside and from other reports his strength is above average for Freshman lineman.

Other notables are Thomas battling Crowder for center. Coaches wish someone would battle for LT but for now status quo.

If DR should look good enough at RT ... might Kendrick get some looks at LT? I could have sworn he played some LT vs. Bama last year. :dunno:

In other words, you think he would be great if he didn't suck??:pardon:

Because guys in their late 30s get worried for 27.3 seconds till they read the 1st paragraph of a thread. Then worry turns to anger "how dare you upset me like that".

27.3 seconds before you read the first post? Y'all' must have an atrocious internet connection
