Dress for success?

Other than the Florida game where CBP wore the Outlive shirt (for a purpose) instead of a button down shirt and tie, what is our record when he ditches the tie in favor of a solid tee?

It drives me nuts watching him rant on the sidelines when it looks like he got dressed in the dark. It also seems to always be while we are losing so maybe it's just annoyance combined with bad association.

Anyone else at least a little annoyed when CBP ditches the tie? I know I'm nitpicking but I wondered if anyone else shared my sentiments. :search:

I don't know why most BB coaches are still wearing suits and ties at all. Dockers and a knit shirt would look just fine, and be a heck of a lot more comfortable.

Oh, and ditch the dress shoes. I got licks in junior high for walking on the gym floor in street shoes and to this day I can't bring myself to do it. And that was 35 years ago.

I don't care if he shows in a thong and shower cap, just coach.

I don't know. What I do know is that I'm open to just about anything concerning this team at this point. It's worth a try.

I've never understood why basketball coaches come to the games dressed as lawyers. All the running up and down and screaming and waving, they'd seemingly be more comfortable wearing at least just a regular polo type shirt and khakis. I'm surprised they haven't followed the trend of football coaches, who got away from wearing the suits on the sidelines.

Of course I really have never understood why baseball managers wear full uniforms. I guess it goes back to days when the managers would still be players, but come on. Are we really expecting Bobby Cox or Lou Pinella to pinch hit?

No. But as you mentioned, they used to play. Although, Connie Mack, who managed the Philadelphia Athletics for many years, did wear a suit.
