I'd rather have a tricked out 4x4.

My apologies for the wrong engine size. :) I like the Camaro SS as well. I like how the American auto makers have gotten on this retro kick. I wouldn't mind having a model from all of the big 3. A Challenger Hemi, Camaro SS, and Mustang Mach 1 would be sweet to have in the garage.

Where looks are concerned, I think the Challenger has the edge. The Camaro, however, wins in performance and in price tag.

I cant find a picture that fits, but I'd like a 1962 Chevy Impala SS two door hard top, painted white with maroon intereior. Nothing fancy, just plain on the outside and maybe a 350 under the hood with a 3-11 rear end, and dump exhaust.

My dad always said that was the best car he ever owned in his 20's and early 30's.

One that I designed myself. Provided I had access to the technology and materials that I have seen over the years, that were utilized in a myriad of different fields.

That's one nice vehicle. I wish they would bring the Chevelle back, retro-style like the new Camaro.

I kind of thought they would, seeing as how Chrysler has brought back the Charger AND Challenger. No doubt the Chevelle was right there behind the Camaro in the iconic muscle car era from GM. (not including the Corvette since it is still produced). I wouldn't mind seeing a modern day Nova either.

It's hard for GM to do anything right now without the blessing of the government. I'm sure the government wants to hear about the next gas saving hybrid they plan to build instead of another muscle car. It sucks but it's the mess they got in to.

It's too bad the G8 is going to die with Pontiac. Although it's not going to happen, I still believe that the next-generation Impala should be a slightly restyled G8.
