just beat this earlier tonight. phenomenal for the first 40-ish or so hours, and then really lackluster at the end. i don't want to spoil anything, but i'll just say that the final boss is ridiculously easy when compared to the first game and the ending is terrible for the amount of time most put in to beat it.

i've heard EA rushed Bioware to put this out on the shelf by a certain date so that may be why it ended up like it did. regardless, i was dissapointed in the last hour or so. still a real good game, just a shame they couldn't round it off better with a more suitable ending.

I just finished the game tonight and totally agree, Duck. Btw, I don't think my data from Origins loaded correctly, so I didn't see anyone from the first game at all. It blows :cray:

i accidentally deleted my save file from the first game so i had to go with the default story from origins. didn't seem to matter much, though, since they didn't seem to reference a whole bunch outside of the hero and alistar being king.

Just finished this last night. This was a great game but i was expecting more I guess. To me the game missed the Major missions to build the story line, like the Urn of Sacred Ashes from DA1. All the missions tended to be just go kill/get him/this and bring it back. Overall the fighting and graphic were great, storyline and missions were lacking in my opinion.

I will play it through again with different choices and see how it changes, cause afterall thats what I really like about these games.

also I noticed that yall said you didnt see anyone from the original, however I seen Zeveran, Allistar, Leliana. Only interacted with the first two but Leliana was in the final cut scene.

I just found DA:O and the expansion and DA2 on the internet for the PC.. I've played about 5 hours into DA:O.. but I think after playing the intro to DA2 I may just play DA:O later.. feels a lot more fluid. Thought the combat in Origins was too slow.
