I challenge someone to a "loser leaves town" match... If Hopson makes an NBA roster I leave VN- if he doesn't make a roster, the other person leaves VN.

I would challenge you, but it'd be a waste for either of us to leave VN. What about some other kind of friendly bet?

How about like a two month leave? Power is out from storms so I'm bored...

Darko Milicic. Mario West. Terrico White. Mustafa Shakur.

There are plenty of players that shouldn't be on NBA rosters that are. Don't lose a bet on some fluke.

So true I mean Kwame Brown still plays meaningful minutes.

This thinking brings to mind one name....

Michael...Olowokandi. That guy was the definition of a bust and still stayed on the Clippers roster for a long time.

Oooooh. You are good at propositions. I guess I'm finding out right now that I'm not as confident as I thought I was.

Despite Scotty's weaknesses (and he has a multitude), he also has strengths. He's 6'7, a great athlete, and has an excellent shooting stroke, and a knack for scoring the basketball. He will be on an NBA roster.

His height and athleticism are nothing special in the NBA. His stroke is anything but excellent- he'll make two in a row and then throw up a few airballs.
Not to mention he can't dribble. What separates most at that level is the mental part and Scotty is a mental midget.

I bet most of you were the ones arguing Lofton was going to get drafted and make a team as well.

Hopson may make a roster for a short period, but he's not going to make a career out of playing NBA ball.

If he lands on Orlando he'll be fine. He'll have a chance to learn on the bench without any pressure with 5 mins a game at most to start out. Also have Dwight in the paint will help his drive IMO. We will see. Orl would be a good place for him outside of Boston. Miami would ruin him and so would Chicago.

Would Scotty fit with the Hawks with their second round (and only) pick? Atlanta seems to like extremely athletic players that need work on their game (Josh Smith for example) and their attitude might toughen him up.

Bilas is an idiot. I laugh at his retarded babble everytime he talks. I prefer Charles
Barkley over bilas in every topic.

I haven't heard Tobias mentioned on any of the draft preview shows.

Hopson would do fine in Boston IMO. I hate everything up there though... Red Sox suck, Patriots are the worst, and the Celtics... bleh...

That being said, they have an anorexic roster and Hopson may get Jeff Green's minutes by the end of his first season

Jeff Green's minutes?..........you obviously do not know the NBA.

Hopson will spend a lot of time in the NBADL. The NBA is a mental game and there are tons of players who came out of college with size and talent and are not playing today. Hopson has not been dedicated to the game and unless this changes he will be a 13th man at best on a NBA roster.

Orlando needs another wing about as bad as the Warriors need another PG...

Scotty is going to make a lot of people wish he had the same results here as he has in the NBA within the next 3 seasons. Mark it down

The ink in my pen went dry. Can you mark it down for me?

Most projections I've seen have Tobias going to Denver. But of the other teams I've seen: Chicago, Washington, and even as high as 14 to the Rockets.

I'd like to see him go to Washington. Previously there were a couple mock draft that had him going to Charlotte, but none anymore. I wouldn't mind if that happened either.

I'll take you up on that and I can't wait to show you the door!
