Drae bowles transferring to UTC

Clueless if you ask me...everyone knows that if you're transferring, you skip the bowl game. :)

I know you're just messing, but wouldn't it be common sense to stick around and get all the bowl swag before bailing? That's what I'd do.

Good luck to the kid. He chose us over Bama and Ole Miss so u gotta give him some love despite what had happened here at Tennessee

What? I can not seem to connect the dots. What does Drae Bowles have to do with A.J.?

Drae Bowles wants to go to a school where he is good enough to get playing time and that will not happen here. Wish him well and hope he has a great couple years at UTC.

you must not have logged into VN during the whole AJ deal.

The players got more than swag... They got LOTS of stuff before and during the trip. It was lucrative for the players that were there.

Been saying for a while that Coach Huesman needs to develop a pipeline for UT players that don't work out. I live in Chattanooga and I'll be looking very much forward to seeing Drae play at Max Finley Stadium!

Wish the young man the best of luck at UTC. They need some more talent on that team.

I'm excited about that...he wasn't playing here unfortunately. Now he will play at UTC. I have a group of guy I play football with every sunday. One is a former vol linebacker and when school is not there, Vonn Bell has played with us a couple of times. Hopefully we can get him out there!! Wish him luck though!!

Do you really think he can do the job, we got to get 1 of the Freshmen ready just in case Peterman cant do the job he has proved that, he is just not a SEC QB.

Are you kidding ?,did you not see how he handled that victory formation in the bowl game ?

Peterman should not be starting but I can see him being the back-up. Jennings has a very long way to go before being an SEC QB and could very well be moved to safety. Dormady is more ready but may still have some issues with the labrum injury. Jones could possibly be the best option to replace Peterman IF he ends up at UT.

Good Luck to Drae. Plus, I hope the Mocs light it up with him there.

That kid really looked like he was working his rear off in all the practice tape that I saw this year. Figured e would get some PT and at least a few catches. Looks athletic. Not sure what the hangup is on making the field.

And as far as Peterman goes. I for one am super glad he is here and hope he stays. I don't think some are considering the relative depth issue at QB is he leaves.

One quality SEC QB with an OL that can get you killed, backed up by only two true Freshmen who have yet to take a college snap, run thru the T, or be seen perform when the lights come on. Does not create a lot of confidence right there.
