Way to go in jumping all over someone for some completely trivial ****.

A-hole of the day goes to you. Be grateful, there were many candidates on this board alone.

For real. Wow, most epic thread 180 ever. it's a message board dude. Chill.

So pretty cool about Drae and Dalton!

They taste like chicken squat. All they do is go hide in there precious antartica, away from all the cool killer whales and lepoard seals. If they are good at anything it would be surfing, per disney.

don't go pissing off the penguins,,they got big peckers.

It started simply as some good news about a couple of our commitments. Odd indeed.

Look im sorry I didnt cap it i was typing fast but by the time i get out of highschool 2014 we could be in WW3 or something big so if we need troops ill be there with my pen but hopefully things wont get that bad so i dont have to join but we all know this world cant keep peace....

I was active duty Army for several years and recently returned home to Tennessee and now serve in the National Guard. While I am sure you have good intentions, I feel confident I speak for more than just myself when I say that if you don't want to join unless you "have to" that you just shouldn't join at all. If you look at it that way, just wait for the draft-cause that's the only time you would "have to" join.

If the person fighting next to me isn't willing to give everything they have for their country and their fellow soldiers, I would rather them not be next to me.

I wish to publicly apologize to Soz for derailing this thread, and to those on this board whom I may have offended.
In doing so however, I do not compromise my values.

Go Vols and have a nice day.

No one wishes to compromise your values, friend. I think you bring up a great point but what do you expect when our children can't even say the pledge of allegiance in school. Different time, different generation. I'm dealing with it with my kids as we speak.

50years, no offense here. You are correct about the capitalization and didn't know SOZ was a younger fan. However, he did get it right in the thread title. SOZ had his heart in the right place and hopefully learned a little lesson along the way. Hopefully, next he will learn that his post CAN BE EDITED if he so choses (hint-hint).

SOZ, thanks for bringing good news to the board.

Sam, it's definitely a different generation. However, our kids still pledge in my area. At least in elementary and middle schools, not so sure about the high schools. Now I will have to look into that to satisfy my curiousity.

Everyone loves America. We dont need to pledge allegiance everyday. We should probably do something about the horrid math and science scores first.
