History has shown that 3-4 will move on over Christmas break. There are usually guys who realize they are in over their head. Tom Smith comes to mind. Kyberson needs to leave but probably won't. Pair, Schofield...there are always some who grow tired of riding the pine.
No new coach would yank scholarships??
If that is our statement you are far from correct. Coaches is all sports clean house when they first get jobs to make sure there is room for their guys.
figured you would give specifics of coaches taking away scholarships from seniors since it's so widespread but I guess not
it will tell us nothing since no new coach is going to come in and start yanking scholarships
We here on VN complain because we don't like the quality of recruits that Dooley was bringing in.
But, we here on VN complain because those same recruits aren't encouraged by the new staff and they decommit.
It would certainly be less likely that they would ask a senior to go elsewhere but your post said no mention of that. You claimed coaches don't clean house when they first get jobs. That's flat out wrong!
show me these coaches who come in a revoke scholarships. Since it is so common there must be hundreds. I'm especially interested in the ones that have no competent backup
Since he took over for Urban Meyer back in January, Muschamp has seen the roster shrink by 15, mostly because of transfers and dismissals. Transferred out or dismissed from the team were tight ends Gerald Christian, Michael McFarland and Desmond Parks; wide receivers Robert Clark, Chris Dunkley and Javares McRoy; running back Mike Blakely; defensive end Lynden Trail; linebackers Chris Martin and Dee Finley; cornerback Janoris Jenkins and safety Josh Shaw. Fullbacks T.J. Pridemore and Steve Wilks had to take medical hardships after doctors advised them to give up the game. Linebacker Neiron Ball was physically unable to perform this season due to a spinal condition. His football future has yet to be determined.
Need more????

which one was a senior starter who had his scholarship revoked without a capable backup in place?

They may not yank schollies, but they will either paint them a picture of what it will be like.No new coach would yank scholarships??

Coaches don't "yank" scholarships. They "encourage" them to move on or look elsewhere but they don't just yank them.
