Counting the seniors that graduated, UT only has 14 spots open for this signing class. When you add in Hunter going pro and possibly a few more that only leaves 15-18 spots open for NSD. So unless several transfer or leave the program thats all CBJ can sign.

History has shown that 3-4 will move on over Christmas break. There are usually guys who realize they are in over their head. Tom Smith comes to mind. Kyberson needs to leave but probably won't. Pair, Schofield...there are always some who grow tired of riding the pine.

I think there are a couple more with the dismissal of players from dooley's era. We got rid of Clear and Rogers just to name a couple.

i think we will sign 15 this year. i just think its too late to try and build the necessary relationships this year. look for 2014 to be a big year

Matt Milton receiver from Illinois left last season during Christmas break. Arnett receiver from Michigan left last season during Christmas break.

I have a feeling that O Brien will leave. He did not play this season and most of the players from the north never work out. Arnett, Milton, Henderson, lineman from Wisconsin, Sattelle lineman from Illinois, etc. etc.

So if we only sign 15of that means only one more commitment cause we are currently at 14? That would blow!

I would be shocked if the new staff doesn't plan to sign 25. I would like to see what some of the more seasoned recruiting gurus have to say about numbers

According to the chart Oci posted, we can sign 16. Assuming Bray and CP leave, that bumps it to 18 then obviously any others who leave will bump it further.

There will be attrition before signing day, not sure how much, but there always is. I'm not sure if CBJ can get up to 25 signees, but i'd say we sign at least 20 and our final class ranking will be somewhere around 25. I don't think it's gonna be that bad considering the train wreck that Dooley left.

I thought this was discussed a week ago. For some reason I remember being told we would sign 25 because of graduation, draft, transfers and Dooley dismissals.
