I remember it being said that she had a letter on her desk, from Haslam, telling her Currie was to be hired. Soon after that, IIRC, it was said that she wanted a sitting P5 AD.

Jake is a good dude, one of the better, more thoughtful posters on here imo......we're usually on the same page. Just a difference of opinion, no worries. He thinks I'm kinda dealing in unfounded conspiracy theories, while I feel I'm connecting pretty obvious dots. Part of the fun of posting on VN.
