Doug Mathews' thoughts on Team 121....

Always thought speed wasn't so vital for OL. Quick feet, YES, but sprinting is not as much of a factor as strength & BAD-ness of temperament.

By slow I meant movement...not 40 times. Maybe just my perspective, but he's always seemed a step behind whomever he's facing...dating back to his RS Freshman year. He must grade out better with the coaches. Always felt the Kerbysons,Halls,Jones,Boulwares, Robertsons et al are MUCH "meaner and stronger" than Kendrick. Have no doubt that Kendrick has worked his butt off to be as good as he is, but that doesn't accord him the status many on here want to foist on him...JMO.

Richmond was downright terrible last year. I was watching the Missouri game again a few days aho to see how great Josh was in his home finale and couldn't get over how bad Richmond looked. Charles Harris made him look like a child on every snap tossing him to the side. We had to have a RB chip him every play or we had to run away from his direction.

Good for Drew if he's improved. But I'll believe it when I see it. Based on what I saw last year he'll be lucky to be more than a depth player.

I know it's not the popular opinion (and it pains me to say it) but until Richmond can prove it by not getting pushed around on the field against top level SEC competition (or heck, even against USCe or App State), then D4H is correct.
