  • There WILL be an immediate change at QB. Number 15 most likely.
  • CJP is still the right guy, rebuilding a program is tough in this league.
  • Our Defense is improving, even though we can't cover the slant.
  • Young players in the waning moments of the KY game showed some promise.
  • Only 3 out of 4 drives of significance for us in the second half. Offense couldn't deliver.
  • Pruitt's Sunday will be spent with Offensive staff.
  • Receivers can't get any separation and haven't all season.
  • Inability to deliver splash plays (down the field) makes life easy for other teams DC.
  • Dumb penalties.. lack of discipline.
  • To early to give up. Last 5 games will tell the tale of the season.

Feel free to add to this list. This is just off the top of my head after listening to the show.

I agree with the poster who said if we had run every play of the 2nd half we may have won. JG put us in a hole early but that responding drive of running Gray down their throat wore them down. The game was lost after the three and out on opening possession of 2nd half

Receivers can't get any separation and haven't all season..
Nobody is really talking about this much but I noticed that when I was at the SC game. Our WRs seem to really have problems separating after they get jammed and, for lack of a better term, don’t seem to play with much “suddenness”.

I don't know about you guys, but I feel everyone and their mom has said teams just load the box against JG because they know he can't beat them with his arm.

Question still remains, why is this guy still starting, and why has QB not been a priority for the coaches?

Against SC, Mizzou and UK I’ve seen one drive per game where it was obvious Pruitt told Chaney to run the ball down their throats, and we did.

15 most likely? I wonder who gets more consideration between Maurer and Shrout?

So not only are the QBs bad but we have WRs that cannot get separation. Great. Grand. Thats been a problem dating back to Botch Jones. Well if we dont have veteran WRs that can get separation then throw the young guys out there. Beckwith, Wideman, Hyatt, Holliday, Calloway. Just play these freaking guys already.

You would think the coaches could create a separation with a scheme we have some fast wide receivers.

Something has got to be up with Maurer. It makes no sense that he started last year but didn’t see the field yesterday.

I have no idea what the deal is. Does he have a lingering hamstring injury? I think Shrout shot his wad with that interception right off the bat. Doubt he sees the field again.

Injury database update from yesterday.

Maurer QB Hamstring day-to-day (10/17/2020) Maurer has missed the last three games with a hamstring issue, and it has yet to be determined if he will take the field against Alabama on Oct. 24.

I'm pretty sure he was injured and missed most of the offseason practices. Pruitt mentioned that he was behind the learning curve and trying to catch up. I think we'll see him on the field at some point this season. He seemed like our most dynamic option last year even though he was sort of careless with the ball.

Sorry but the jury is still out on this one, no matter how many times it's repeated.

I can buy the hamstring issue. I am not sure that I want to see a baptism by fire for HB with bama but he wouldn't be the first one tossed into it.

So with him saying there WILL be a change, do we believe he has insider information to take this as a fact??

Thanks for posting. I think Matthews is believed to speak for Fulmer...hopefully Fulmer and Pruitt are on the same page.

It all sounds good except for the splash plays - I prefer long demoralizing drives!

I hope the program takes a step into the future and gets something positive out of the UK disaster.
