Doug Marrone - OL

Chris Lowe said Marone would be a good Head coach candidate for TN if Pruitt doesn't make it through this investigation. (Which he seemed to think Pruitt would NOT make it through the investigation.) He seemed to think Marone would be ahead of Freeze and/or Malzahn on TN list.

All wives hate Knoxville.... No Macy's?
Lot of good options. My question was which wife doesn’t like Knoxville? Sounded like BigDave was saying that about Marrone’s ball and chain.

That's interesting. I like Marrone but like him a lot more as a position coach than a HC. Granted he didn't have a ton of talent but the Jags team doesn't inspire excitement.

We were paying Friend I believe 850k. Meanwhile Kyle Flood at Bama only makes 650k. I say offer Flood 800k.

I would think Knoxville would be great for a coach's wife. Celebrity status and fun setting. I love stupid Knoxville.

This tells me that Chris Low is getting his information straight from Fulmer. No one would put Marrone at the top of the list for a college coaching position, except Fulmer who wants to keep our offense conservative. You can either live in the 1900's or move on to the 2020's.
