Doubled barrel g-gun

Fulmer said hell? And I don't buy it that Berry was going into the game if the penalty hadn't occurred

I'd like to get all the pages of the playbooks that have the G-Gun on them and gather them all together for a bonfire.

Haha, still, I'll take my chances with Both Berry and Jones back there. They're the 2 best athletes on our team and we must get them the ball.

Because it has yet to work - makes for easy defense - crowd the line of scrimmage and tackle the ball carrier. Nothing inventive with the G-gun.

It hadn't been as effective because of the QB we had in the backfield couldn't hit a barn... So teams stacked the Box against the run. Then when Jones came in, they left it stacked.

I think we still avg like 9 yds each time they do it though.

Why would it matter whether the starting QB was Jon Crompton or John Elway once Gerald Jones went in at QB?

when we go in the "g-gun" every defense in America knows we are running it.

I think that is UT's version of being innovative.

Exactly. We can't even get basic offensive maneuvers down, how in the world is our O-line and everyone else supposed to make this work?

How about, GET OUR FREAKING O-LINE PLAYING BETTER!! This BS about having more trick plays doesn't work unless the O-Line can block. This is starting to get pathetic.

I like the g-gun at times, but last week when Stephens was effective in moving the offense down the field, I didn't agree with running the g-gun when they did. If what you are doing is working and your QB is managing the offense and making things happen, why change it?

I do not think the G Gun package is driven off of trick plays.

That's all it is as of right now. Well wait, it was a trick play until everyone figured it out. I would rather see him as a RB that has the option to throw because we need a "QB" in there to keep the defense honest.

What? How exactly is it a trick play?

Tony franklin got the axe, just saying. The playcalling either leads me to believe, our coaches have made promises to the kids that they're scared to break. PR concerns,(recruiting), or dave clawson just doesn't know what the hell he is doing.
