BOOM should be the name of the highlight video 247sports posted. But how many times did it show Dorian making a play without being blocked? Show us more of what he can do when he's got a stud opposing him.

Does anybody think Shoop will ever have him lined up as wide as Col. of the Canyon had him? I'm not second-guessing our coaches, but I'd sure like to see what kind of in-close moves he has and how well he turns the corner. He's obviously got the juice. What's he got in his bag of trick-nique?

I'm no negaVol, and I'm not doubting DG's talent, heart, comittment, or value to the team. I guess I'm still waiting to see how many JC elites are ready for trench warfare in the SEC.

Welcome home, Dorian! Come be exceptional, and give the OCs on our schedule two years of staying up late, and NFL scouts two years to dream!

Fair question.
I've only watched the same highlights as you but he received so many offers from other respected coaches also. Hoping that means he's for real.

We were his first big offer a while back. Glad our guys were on top of things.

“Once I’m committed to a school, I’m 100 percent all in. There’s no turning back for me. Once I tell a school, ‘Hey. I’m yours. I’m coming to you guys.’ There’s nothing else that anyone can do to turn me back from that,” Gerald explained. “So I want to make sure that choice I’m making that the choice is right and going to help me and my family at the same time.”

This was in VQ article..It made me feel better about his commitment..Being from Florence, SC and snubbing Muschump & USCe makes it even sweeter....

U could have a point. But, so far Butch and company has been spot on, with their evaluations on talent. Plus, Little Nicky and the defensive guru, Will Muschump want him, so I think he will be able to adjust to the SEC

Fans evaluate coaches based on wins and losses primarily, but recruits rarely use that as a significant factor when choosing a school. Close to home, fan of the school, national exposure, and relationship with a position coach rank higher for recruits. So while your post sounds good, it's not really based in reality or logic.

Recruiting is going very well, though I must say.

Post is true. But, that being said, talent wins championships or competes for championships over a period of time. We've unfortunately seen what a void of talent gets us.

Well the reality is that UT is 3rd overall in wins the last two years in the SEC and the only SEC team with 3 bowl wins in a row. That correlates with fans perceiving a coach with wins and losses. So while you stated my post sounds good the reality is my logic is more significant to what the recruits are seeing. Not your way of thinking.

In the grand scheme of things Coach Jones and staff have improved remarkably over the last few years in the win column before he got here, APR is at an all time high, players being drafted in his first cycle of upperclassman, etc. If the fans are only looking at the wins and losses then they're being narrow minded. What I mean by that is the last two years are the true two years we can judge Coach Jones and last year was injury riddled. Now I understand Jones has questions marks but it does not take away the mark improvement we have had under Jones and staff. And the recruits have noticed.
Well stated Manning. !

You know exactly what he meant and he's right. Some of the adult fans attitudes on here suck.
