After the game on the Derek Dooley radio show, Dooley said that you could pitch a tent over the 3rd quarter or game because it looked like a circus. I love his quotes! However, he needs to fix the circus that was in town today. Shut the circus down, GO VOLS!!

I think Dooley's going to get it done. That doesn't mean that I'm any less disappointed with the fact that we have to go to double OT to beat UAB, but after the last few seasons, I'm not willing to be that bummed out by a win, regardless of the opponent. Let's focus on LSU. Go Vols!

I realize that but what does it have to do with my statement?

I agree with you Hman. Dooley does like to stick it to individual players in the Presser. What the hell does a "circus" even mean? Cute quotes and calling out players publically is fine and all, but sooner or later, clever quips get old.

At least he doesn't fluff the media or the fans with "we'll look at tape".

He knows we suck and he'll say it.

That's exactly what I'm trying to get across.

I think they should work like heck to get better and throw some magic dust on the team.

I believe he was referring to the fact that we could not score or tackle..

Don't forget an appearance by the 3rd and Long Monster.

Hey, that's not a monster, that's the elephant in the room, on both sides of the ball. Dive left, dive right, flat pass.... that's the offense we are running now. WHY?

I hate to say this, and I hope someone will tell me I'm wrong, but at the presser today Dooley had the "deer-in-the-headlight" look. His body-language was nervous and shifty. Has he alwasy been like that.

I've got to say, I know he's doing OJT here (recall the "staph meeting"), but he even admitted to having paralysis on the sidelines.

I've been very pro Dooley, and this team will be judged by what it accomplishes in November, but I got my first butterflies watching the PGP.
