Dooley's postgame attitude

Didn't bother me in the slightest. He showed some passion and emotion, which I find very refreshing.

I thought everything was acceptable. Besides, he wasn't pissed at Miles, but at the officials.

We were overmatched everywhere on the field except
maybe QB.

The cheerleaders aren't as hot as they once were.

The band has a small sound.

And people are concerned that Dooley only shook Miles'
hand once? We must have the most neurotic fan base on the planet.

See Urban Meyer. Shows no emotion. Very even keel yet very successful. It all comes with maturity. Derek Dooley is young. He'll get there in time.

I wouldv'e done the exact same thing.. We had the game in the bag.. I felt like I won a million dollars then someone took it away and set it on fire!

I fail to see your point. How a coach handles himself on the sideline has zero baring on how successful a coach can or will be. Another example. Tony Dungy. It is okay to be upset, but at some point he has got to realize that he is representing an institution. Him not shaking Les Miles hand after the game was inappropriate. Period.

I hope not. I love the energy. Shows his players and fans that winning is important.

Grow a pair. The man just lost a game in the most gut-wrenching way imaginable. I suppose it would be better if he were to be like good ole Phillip Fulmer and pucker up to the opposing coach. A little emotion from the head man is what we have been missing around here. Golly gee, aww shucks has gotten us to this point.

More like bending over and golf clapping

the point is that its unbelievable how something like THAT would upset people.

I would've been worried if Dooley didn't act the way he did. The man has some fire and he doesn't like losing.

That's fine, and I don't disagree with the thought, I just felt he acted like a little girl. He threw more headseats than Simms threw TDs. Grow up, coach.

You're a moron.

Yea I'd hate to have a coach that throws things.

Yup he should have shrugged his shoulders and smiled all the way to the locker room.

Look, you're fat and you rarely clean your mom's basement, which doubles as your living quarters. What's the difference, we're both posting on a message board. We're losers.

Watch the replay again. Dooley went to go shake Miles hand again but miles was in the endzone with the celebrating players. So Dooley turned around and headed towards the lockeroom. Then Miles chased him down and shook his hand. In between plays he may have busted a headset or two :)

Agree...if the coaches express strong emotions to a point of distraction then confusion can set in leading to errors.

Seems like the Vols lost composure for some reason...when according to CBS analysis, all they had to do line up and stand in place, as LSU had imploded without any assistance.

Who would you rather have Saban or Meyer?

Saban sure as hell shows emotion.

Yeah he does no doubt but take your pick. They are both excellent coaches. Some coaches show emotion and some don't. You can field a successful team regardless.

Exactly. We could have stopped them on that third down with six players given the botched snap.

...which they do with regularity. The problem was that we were too inept to allow it.
