Was anyone else bothered by how CDD acted right after the loss? I know Dooley was just as upset as I was, but I'm allowed to show that kind of behavior in my home where I'm not influencing my players and representing UT on national TV. I just felt like he should have acted disappointed but respectful toward loser Les, but he threw his headset and stormed off the field. If the loss wasn't bad enough, I kinda felt our coach acted like a jerk.

Thoughts???

I think he acted just fine. I'd have been incredibly pissed also. I have no problem with his reaction.

I noticed that as well. His language on the sideline was horrific as well.

He acted exactly like anyone who felt like they had just won a game and had it ripped away from them should have. Get the F over it. There is no proper way to react to what happened to him or his team. Huge win ripped away, F all of the reaction to it!!!

Good. We won't win football games by being polite and mild mannered. I'm glad he showed some emotion!

The only thing I saw was after he threw the headset and walked off saying "That's bulls***!", which I though was a fairly accurate assessment of the situation.

You don't get extra BCS points from being nice, but I understand what you're saying about him representing UT.

I think he should have challenged Miles to a duel... Call me old-fashioned...

Boy the man is pissed because we lost. At least he has the desire to WIN. If he did nothing and act like it was ok you people would really be after him. I like he has the fire in him to win. You people need to get behind this team and stop all this crap.

A knuckle sandwich in Miles' kisser would've totally made up for the 11+2 goal line set.

A) Were you on the side line ?
B) Are you a professional "lip reader" ?
C) Your statement is subjective.
D) Shut up......
E) Are you being sarcastic ?
F) If so disregard....

He shook his hand once, no need for a second trip to the middle. If LSU hadn't been so confused we wouldn't have had that penalty. That's what sucks so bad.

I had no problem at all with it and I'm sure 75% of the USA didn't either. His team (which, news flash, no one outside of the UT fanbase ever expected them to be in this game) just went from this seasons highest high to the lowest low in about 25 seconds. I guess you would rather him put his headset on the back of his neck and just clap like someone else I know.

Good Lord people...he said in the postgame interview he was going to have to watch the film. What more do you want from a coach? He cursed like Kiffin, he reviews film like Fulmer. I mean, come on.

I'm so sick of people analyzing people's post game demeanor. As much as I despise Kiffen, I didn't see anything wrong with his handshake with Beamer and the same applies tonight. This is a nonissue considering the problems we've got now.

He actually shook hands with Les already when the game ended the first time, then everyone ran into the end zone and started jumping on each other Les included after they won. I'm sure he didn't think Les was expecting another hand shake while celebrating like that, don't see a problem with it.

In that situation how would your true emotions NOT show through? I've never seen a game won and taken away like that in my life and he probably hasn't either. I don't blame him one bit for being pissed and passionate and WANTING the big win so bad that when he was that close to it and actually thought he won before having it taken away, he couldn't control his disappointment. I want a head coach with that kind of heart and passion on my sideline every Saturday!

OP, you do realize that LSU fans were praising CDD for showing more passion in five seconds than Les Miles has shown in six years?
