Don't forget Saban went 6-6 in year one and we were all laughing at him for losing to ULM.

I don't think anyone here disagrees that LSU has more talent right now that UT. I would say this game being so close does come down to coaching. Dooley wins on that front. I'm giving Dooley a chance because honestly we have no choice. This program needs stability as much as anything right now. You can recruit talent to Tennessee but when you have the coaching turmoil we've had for the past few years it's hard to get those 4 and 5 star kids when they don't know who they'll be playing for. I would even say that part of the reason Fulmers recruiting fell off in 07 and 08 is because there was a lot of talk about Fulmer being run out of town.

I think Dooley and the staff made some mistakes today, but we were in a position to win against a top 10 team. There have been some positive signs this year that haven't shown up as W's. I'm not a fan of moral victories but we all knew this year would be tough. Let's see how we finish. I can' believe the season is almost halfway over.

Those players were picked by Meyer not by another coach. Florida is young but they aren't as young as us overall. New coaches and system. Plus all of Florida's players have bought into the system. I've heard that players like Jerod Askew still haven't bought in.

What changed nearly everyone on here was saying we would go 6-6 or 7-5 this year before the season started.Now nearly everyone is pissed because its coming true.I for one am looking forward to next season.I also believe CDD is doing a good job for what he has to work with.We all knew this is a rebuilding year let him have time.

We had a #3 recruiting class in 2007.
How is that working out?

Well he better start getting players to fir that system, because we won't win anything signing classes ranked 25th.

Agreed. Just a hard day-I just wanted our coachs and players to get a break today.

LMAO, Remember Bama didn't have ONE PLAYER DRAFTED the year Saban took over. First time in 38 years Alabama didn't have a player drafted. Saban could take this TN team over and beat AL this time next year.
