He came from behind twice.

2008:
trailed Fresno St. - 21-14 won 38-35

2007:
trailed New Mexico St. - 7-3 won 22-21

Three wins were within 10 points at half, and the rest were 10+ point lead.

I thought you had to still love Fulmer too. Honestly, speaking for myself, this could be a bad sign and it could, in a way, be a sign of better things to come. I'm choosing to hold off on throwing Dooley in the dumpster for now. If someone else wants to literally urinate on the man and then post about it then I'm not going to hold them back. Dissent makes this place entertaining.

You are right. He could very well let the game get away in the 1st quarter every time. Or maybe the man can count and would have beaten LSU. I just don't see this as a trend yet. It is too soon for me to believe it is a Dooley thing and not an awful team thing.

Entertaining is one thing. But sometimes people just argue purely based on pre conceived notions that either DD is going to fail or succeed. Thats what sucks to me.

Here is list of games where he over came being behind at the half, BCS game included.

N Mexico St 7 La Tech 3 won 22-21

2008:
Mississippi St 14 La Tech 9 won 22-14
Fresno St 21 La Tech 14 won 38-35

Not sure what any of these means since this staff is so different from La Tech staff. HC not only one making halftime changes / adjustments. STAFF does it together.

what halftime adjustments can he make?

play power football with a young undersized offensive line?
air it out with an offensive line that can't pass protect and young qb's?
bend but don't break with an undersized defensive line?
blitz and leave guys like art evans one on one with opposing wr's?

what options can he turn to in order to make an adjustment?

Agreement!!! DD's mistakes are multiplied times ten because of the teams issues that we all know. Thats what makes this such a hard situation to critique.

I can understand if people don't like CDD,Heck he was way down the pecking order for Mike Hamilton! I loved Kiffin when he was here,but guys look we are what we are! A young,lack of depth, and playmakers (i think we have playmakers but inexperienced). I believe the fair way to judge Dooley is 2011 which i believe possible 7-5, 8-4 is what we should be and 2012 with more recruits and 9-2 or 10 and better. If Kiffiin was here we'd finish top 3 in recruiting it would be better ONLY because of the team would know the scheme or both sides of the ball that's it! THE DOUCHE WOULD SELL HIS FIRST BORN FOR A BETTER OPPURTUNITY (KIFFIN), but thats it Dooley will prove himself soon enough.

Yes. Then you ignore them. What looks like nonsense one day could easily turn out to be the truth. The more we know about Dooley the fewer surprises there will be. Can he turn it around? We'll find out... The posts where people basically tell everyone that the are not entitled to an opinion at all because they say so are what annoy me.

My only opinion is that we have a bad team for a lot of reasons. DD has done some good things that I like and hes done some things that drive me crazy. I have no idea, based on 7 games, with the situation he inherited, what our future holds. Hes done nothing to warrant all this BS about firing.

I think the entire staff lack making adjustments at halftime. It's either that or we just don't have the depth after the first half to execute.
