Dooleys job is legitimately on the line in Starkville

I know it's not popular, but it actually is true. Dooley's job this year didn't hinge on beating UGA, USCe, or Bama. It hinged on NCState, Florida, MSState, and Mizzou. He's won one and lost one. He needs to show that he can be good teams to give any hope that he can eventually beat a great team.

Lot of mediocrity lovers here, apparently.

If we can't beat Mississippi State, with all the starters we have back this season, you're kidding yourself if you think we're going to contend for the SEC in the next four years.

Well, I watched a strange PAC 12 like game against two teams that didn't quit. We came up a little short but were competitive and had our chances to win. Head in the sand? If you say so. UGA literally dripping with talent and our boys held there own.

Honestly, right now I'm glad it wasn't a blow out. We could've, should've, would've won if we had a few things go differently...but we played well against #5 in the nation.

Ur an idiot. We had the last ranked offense last year and we have done nothing but improve! You are a complete idiot. And anyone who thinks your smart is the same. WE HAVE DONE NOTHING BUT INPROVE FOR THREE YEARS!

6-7
5-7
3-2

This team is better then the previous two but we are pretty much on par. Im not really sure any of them are better them kiffen or fulmers sqauds.

Starkville can't be how far we've fallen. MSU is not a measuring stick game. I think we win that game handily. We are 0-2 against our biggest rivals in the east and Bama still looms.

Typical of Volnation to take a moral victory, no matter how much they talk about how its not an excuse preseason. We played well and LOST tonight.

Its just how it is. If Dooley can't win in Starkville, then he has to do something huge like beat Alabama. If he can win in two weeks, it seems like that will be enough to reserve another year barring a disaster in November.

We showed a couple of good things tonight: running the ball effectively and fighting to the end.

Its the best I've felt about a loss in a long time.

I think we win in Starkville if we build upon this game.

MSU has no where near the talent that UGA does, if we play well, we win.

Yeah, me too....I was very proud of them. They had two chances to fold up and they kept fighting

Dooley year 3: 3-2 so far (0-2 in SEC play)

We haven't improved what matters most, the win column.

Duckman, how can you possibly not see all of the remarkable improvement? Last year, we finished dead last in the SEC East. Now look at us. We're dead last in the SEC East.

I know we say this everytime we play, but this is a MUST game for Dooley. With this win he's still hanging in there, with a loss it's almost inevitable. Hopefully we have a great 2 weeks of practice and get it done.
