Whatever. I saw a team fight last night, then get hit with a devastating blow in the 4th quarter and couldn't respond. You call that quitting.
The Fulmer team you refer to didn't show up, was blown out by the half, was out talented in some spots, but it's called heart.

No Fulmer quit on the university. I'm not saying that he shouldn't have been fired. We are no better now either.
CPF didn't quit. But he did take for granted recruits would flow in like the 90's. With the parody it took an adjustment. An adjustment of stepping it up that would be tough for anyone that has had that much success. Now I realize Saban is different but there arent many of those creatures out there.
Before tonight, I was with you. I believed. I just knew deep down that you were hamstung by a lack of talent the first two years and this was your break-out year.
But now I realize that you do not know how to prepare your players and bring them out of the half-time locker room ready to play.
So, who is UT's coach next year?
We took the lead early in the 2nd half. We came out of the locker room ready to play in the 2nd half. Stupid post
Let's be real. Tennessee is never winning another national title. Quite simply, our state doesn't have the talent base to be a real player within the Southeastern Conference and, as such, nationally. We could hire the best coach on the planet and Tennessee would be looking at 9 win seasons as a high point.
I disagree we won a title by robbing talent from Ga. and given our record we are recuiting well. UF, Ga., and Bama are deeeep. We've got the talent on the first team but that is it. UF subed out the whole D-line in the 2nd and 3rd quarter. That is something we just can't do and compete. However, if we continue to pull top 10 classes we will.
