Dooley's future at UT (merged)

All off season we talked alot of s**t and now have a slice of humble pie to eat. Maybe next time we we wait till we play good comp before we build this team up. That being said I do believe CDD is out of his league I dont think he has the eye for talent we had hoped for. The difference in raw talent last night was obvious at every position with the exception of WR.

I agree with Dooley's eye for talent. While I want local kids on the team we cannot continue to waste scholarships kids who do not have the talent to play in the SEC.

I can't figure out how he takes a decent team into the locker room and returns with a bunch of kids who don't believe they belong on the field. What is he doing during the half?

I really think that late throw by Bray was aimed at Dooley. I think it was intentional.

I don't know if that is the Da'rick factor or what, but I just don't think these kids respect or believe in him and Chaney (only two left, right?).

I'm not prone to Steveorino's gusto this week, but I'm not seeing daj's objectivity today either.

Florida has improved tremendously in three games. Have we improved in three years?

Bobby Petrino please
let me get this straight, you want a liar, cheat, a coward-left falcons in middle of season and didn't have the balls to stand in front of team to tell them he was quitting, left a form letter instead, interviewed for one job while employed by another in season -louisville? Great rep for a proud university don't you think? Get some prioritys in life pal

Respect is an issue.

It's not just me who doesn't respect CDD. He has to earn that. Yet, to get the HFC job at UT, he should have had something in his resume that would help. He didn't and he hasn't added anything since he arrived.

I also don't think it's just Kiff players who don't respect him.

always like fulmer just thought he got lazy. also he would not hire a top notch OC which turned me against him.

I agree, don't get me wrong. There is blame to spread everywhere. I just think the players back then took the maxims to heart as a proud Tennessee tradition. I maybe wrong but I bet players on todays team couldn't tell you one. And it shows

Defensive backs seemed out of place once again. On that direct snap there were no safeties anywhere in sight! Unable to make adjustments during the game, and abandoning the running game in the third were the biggest coaching issues i seen. Once they got ahead the secondtime the team mostly the defense gave up. Firing Dooley isnt going to help a whole lot real quickly. Besides who the hell are we gonna get? Not Bobby Petrino, that would just be another Kiffin.

How did that work out for UGA last year?

It's a gamble... just trying to do this the new UT way. Think about the easiest way to win games (e.g. bad opponents) and the easiest way to beat a ranked team.

We have a few ranked teams on the schedule coming up... but do we have any hope against any of them?

None what so ever

Like I said talent not heart. They had better talent and it showed

Whatever. I saw a team fight last night, then get hit with a devastating blow in the 4th quarter and couldn't respond. You call that quitting.

The Fulmer team you refer to didn't show up, was blown out by the half, was out talented in some spots, but it's called heart.
