lucky for us we are recruiting men and not girls. they won't judge a person by 1 game. what if you was judged by 1 bad day in your life. how would you look. if you remember Chavis looked bad in the orange bowl a time or 2, but seems like people want him back.

One bad day? How about one bad resume! He's never had success anywhere.

Wow, you're really going out on a limb there.

Whatever. It doesn't matter who he hires if the win total doesn't improve. I doubt the new DC is going to be the new HC if things don't work out like some have suggested. Everything will have to start over.

listen I want shannon too. but people are freaking out over 1 game with Steele.

Again, Clemson gave up 30 pts a game to opponents this year. I felt the need to tell you again since you decided to disregard these facts the last time I laid them out. You can't even attempt to make excuses for allowing 30 pts a game. That is pure crap.

how many D players did they lose to the NFL?

Jesus christ dude! Look what wilcox done with our D. He made us somewhat respectable with a bunch of guys who are mediocre at best and freshmen, excluding m.jackson and the freshmen, they were not very talented. Clemsons talented and playing ACC competition and gave up an avg. Of 30pts per game. It's not just one game

it's not one game...it's the LAST game the press and Recruits will see this year...if Tennessee Hires KS...all that will come out is this game..because it is the LAST image they see of him.

Mcneil, santos, peters and pig, eventhough he's on O, they are all wavering somewhat.

Your really overreacting I think. It's all hearsay. They have questions and concerns, which is definitely understandable, and haven't gotten a chance to talk with our coaches yet.

The fact technology is instantaneous doesn't mean people's feelings and opinions change instantaneously. I'm sure our "solid" commits feel the same way, they just haven't had a microphone shoved into their face or maybe responded a bit different in preference to keeping their feelings closer to the vest.

I think a lot of misinformation in recruiting is a result of people not understanding the dynamics people's personalities. JMO

Like the 2008 year when he got demoted to linebackers coach from DC by Saban. Sorry, just not sold on this guy. With the talent he has at Clemson he should be killing teams in the ACC and the Big East. Thin argument dude.

...break him! Just as Dave Clawson broke Phillip Fulmer!

Surely you jest. Dave Clawson didn't cause Fulmer's problems... he was just an unwitting victim of them.

Clawson didn't cause Fulmer to lose control of team discipline.

Clawson didn't let the long time coaches become complacent and lazy.

Clawson didn't keep Sanders on staff after it was obvious to everyone else that he wasn't up to the job.

Clawson didn't cause Fulmer to rely too heavily on someone else for recruiting information.

It is always vital to hire the right people and Dooley's rope is pretty short. But Fulmer's bed was made long before Clawson got to town.
