I REALLY hate to even say this, but I believe Derek POS Dooley would have coached a better game than Jones. Dooley would have won this game 45-14. I hate that m f er more than anybody, but his teams did take care of business against inferior opponents...hell he crushed most of them. I haven't seen much of an improvement with Jones, and its really disappointing and disheartening. I guess I expected a well-coached team. Im not impressed at all to say the least.

I hate to state the obvious here but he had an nfl QB and 2 NFL WR's. I could have coached those guys and be the crap out of the cupcakes

UAB and Troy say hello. As do Vandy 2011, Kentucky 2011, and Missouri. I consider all of those to be inferior opponents.

Remember the Gruden forum during the coaching search? We need a Weekly Meltdown or Padded Cell forum for after the games. You know, to give the hardcore doom and gloom crowd a place to land softly with their kin after games like this.

Yup, Dooley seriously blew out UAB in 2010. He also blew out UK in 2011, and he also blew out Troy and Missouri in 2012. Dooley definitely would've blown out So Bama today.

Ok, it's one thing to be disappointed with what we've seen from the team's performances thus far. But to actually say Dooley would've coached a better game.... that's absolutely ridiculous. Dooley, the first UT HC to string together 3 consecutive losing seasons since Woodrow Wilson's marxist administration, would've lost that game today.

Anytime I need to feel better about myself, I just come to the football forum postgame. The incoherent, drunken ramblings are even better than Vol Calls.

Is there a way to start bookmarking these threads, so we can endlessly make fun of the posters if, three years from now, we're winning 9 or 10+ games again?

Stop with this garbage. We won the game. As ugly as it was we still won. Dooley would've found a way to lose the game. Am I happy with the win? No. But it's still a win and any win right now is better than a loss. This team has a long way to go

SMDH @ some so-called fans.

Vince Dooley would not be able to do much with the lack of talent on this team.

This is not going to be a quick fix. I'm as guilty as the next guy of wanting quick results. Fact is, it's going to take awhile to fix this.

I really hate to even say this, but a Kentucky fan would have formed a better football related thread...
