Dooley will not release Bryce Brown to Kansas State (Confirmed)

I suppose that's why no one is rushing to put up the poll......

no one is rushing because the man was fired 2 years ago for running the program into the ground. He was fired for cause and his replacement is irrelevant in the discussion.

and this is yet another thread you have sidetracked into a worthless Fulmer discussion. Please try and confine it to one of the many other threads about this exact same issue.

then how does he spread all of his cute, yet totally ignored, little Gibbs VN-isms like the Hambone whatever and GiSM?

Don't single me out, please. Let's show some professionalism.

Notice I have no intention of putting up the poll for exactly the reason you mentioned. It isn't worth it.

yet you found a way to come up with some stupidity about why the poll hasn't been posted? Please. A small touch of intellectual honesty might help you regain a small shred of credibility around here. I know it's asking a lot, especially without half baked or poorly conceived and contrived stats, but you can try.

professionalism in message board posting? What is that exactly?

and you are singled out because you troll every thread looking for a way to interject Fulmer into the discussion.

Fine no professionalism then.

And that's why the bold assertion is PATENTLY FALSE.

But since there is no professionalism, fine. That's explanation enough.

Let's please move this discussion to a different thread. I'm getting tired of seeing a Bryce Brown thread bumped constantly. There's no news and frankly I would love to see this topic die a slow death as so many threads do....just drift off into the nether-board....never to return again.

Actually it could be moved to Around the NCAA thread. BB is no longer a Vol. Dooley did not release him, its over. BB can pay his own way this year and drown in his own tears for all I care.

Bryce Brown and his dad will not be happy about him having to pay out of state tuition for a year at ksu.

Did I hurt some feelings not including some people in the GoF? If you make a written request to me, defending why you think you should be in the GoF, I will take it under consideration. For the sake of tradition, I think we will still just call it the GoF even with new inductees.

I thought I said BPV was an emeritus member somewhere. My apologies, BPV. He's had a good summer - mostly from being more quiet than the rest of the GoF.

As for who has support, certainly my inbox tells a different story than y'all's version. Not unexpected. Moreover, the vast majority of Vol fans, even the vast majority of VN members don't post here.

And it's truly debatable whether you have 50% support from the VN members. I think over the summer, I've been voting with the majority on the polls......

GSM :)

Get it straight. Hat is the leader the others are followers.

But in the text I explained you actually couldn't go back after making that decision. That is what the poll and certainly no small fraction of the text reflect.

You chose the wrong poll.

Keep working like heck though, VKA!

TenD, you're pretty good at constructing the polls, but here is the gist of some of the disputed claims.

Gibbs claims that he effectively persuaded the readers of VN that Fulmer should have been retained; he discounts previous polling as it was conducted prior to his highly persuasive contributions. More than five others claim he is delusional, although Gibbs believes this to be a 'gang of five' who use inappropriate posting tactics to combat his otherwise untouchable arguments.

Additionally, Gibbs claims that VN does not represent UT fans and that the majority of Vols fans are wiser and thus see things more consistently with his views. Essentially, he's stating that even if a poll of VN posters shows he is in the minority, his view is still accurate, but simply under-represented. Again, more than five others claim he is delusional.

Essentially, Gibbs considers himself the voice of the Vols and all others and either part of the gang of five or the silent majority supporting his views (as evidenced by messages in his inbox).

Basically, Gibbs needs to know where he stands and whether there are more than five who contest the Gibbonian manifesto.
