.. I think it safe to say that he is officially gone. I for one appreciate that he came in and took a job that no1 wanted and got our roster back to a good level.. Unfortunately, he just can't coach..

So I think we can all say thanks that he gave his all and tried his best to represent this university the right way..

I'm still trying to figure out where people get the idea that nobody wanted the UT job...Damn...They contacted FOUR coaches...FOUR and thats it...Dooley was suggested by Muschamp and Hamilton hired him because he needed someone in place to save the recruiting class....And that is the ONLY reason...Dooley wasn't even on our radar until Muschamp suggested him...Period...So how could nobody want the job when only a few people were contacted...hilarious...You guys will believe anything...Seriously :eek:lol:

I'm not so sure about Dooley being fired before the end of the season...it certainally doesn't look like this will happen. The Drama of will Dooley survive is killing me, following the Vols since 63, it's apparent Dooley isn't working (understatement) I just hope the University hasn't thrown in the towel due to the current financial situation....this upcomming coaching decision could possibly be the most important in UT Football History.
Please make the best choice for this storied Football program..even if we have to mortage our future
It's Time!

Depends upon if he wins out...he will finish the season then (if you consider KY the last game of the season, not a bowl game). IMO, he won't make it to the bowl game if we win the last 3.

But, I have serious doubts that we win next week and I definitely don't see us beating Vandy, so I would agree that he won't finish the season.
