Dooley will beat Muschump

For what it's worth, I'd rather Meyer stay at Fla than Muschamp. I think Urbie was proving that his coaching ability was tied to Tebow. I think Fla would have had some down years had he stayed.
Muschamp, imo, brings renewed energy and enthusiasm to a program that had none.

This is true.

He will also bring a new OC, who will install an entirely new offense, which will suck for several months.

Florida's secondary will suck next season. Janoris Jenkins will be going pro. The young CBs they have suck. Cody Riggs vs Hunter or Rogers is advantage us all day. Bray vs they're secondary is advantage us all day. They do have better LBs and DTs. But on offense it's not like they have a lot of proven talent coming back. I'm really ready to unleash on Florida next season. Bray will prove to be better than Brantley in this game.

Okay, so I'm finding some like-minded individuals.

I don't see wholesale changes offensively overnight. There is enough there to K.I.S,S. and be well off.

I would be completely fine with Florida keeping the status quo on offense. That would be the best-case scenario.

Muschamp is a good coach and we would have been ecstatic to have him as our coach. He will have success at UF, but we will have a very good chance to beat em next year!

Are we sure they will run a pro-style offense? Their running backs are runts and will they use tightends instead of fullbacks? The UF defense should be very good next year but I can see them still trying to figure it out on offense next year. We still don't have a back that makes teams worry and our receivers are still green. I also think Stocker's departure will hurt a lot trying to convert third downs. I don't know who has the upper hand in the game but both teams have a lot of questions.

My point is we don't need to get the big head. If fl is able to score 21 points in the sec they will have enough to win a lot of games. We don't need to think we can just go in and tear the swamp down.

Don't see us going into the Swamp and punishing the Gators. Wil Muschamp is a great footbal mind and he will have the Gators ready to play. When the current class of freshman are Juniors and the Gators come to Knoxville in 2012, I think it might be a different story.

No we won't. First year coaches always beat us. Spurrier, zook, myer. I'm sick of it! I hope we beat the piss out of them! Just when I think we are getting the momentum back against Florida, Meyer resigns and they get a big hire. Makes you wonder if Hamilton really went after Muschamp. I'm proud and glad we have Dooley but in a couple of years its time to start whipping some ass! Go Vols!

I'm interested to see how Florida plays in this new style.

They will presumably go to a Pro style offense, but as thebjd said they don't have the RBs to run it with. We could see them evolve into more of a defensive-minded team that thinks defense first, which would be weird to see any Florida team having the mentality. They might be forced to if they continue to struggle on offense.

Florida's defense will be lights-out with Muschamp. His defenses usually rank in the top 2-3 in the conference every place he's been, with sudden improvement the norm upon his arrival. There's a reason Saban gave him the D.C. job so fast at LSU and took him with him as a coordinator to Miami. Their offense was about as bad as it possibly could be last year with their identity crisis, so I can't see it being any worse next season with the talent they have. We likely lose by 14 or so.

Not what I wanted to hear.... :(

It sucks to see first hand how coaches would prefer to go to Florida. I suppose having a tie to UT does matter....

With all due respect, Vegas vol's opinion is worth as much as mine,,, I see Bray coming into this spring ready to learn instead of being lost. Dooley will have have them coached up wihtthe line play greatly improved. I can see us winning in the swamp just as easily as VV sees us losing. I don't need a score prediction as long as it is 1point or better I am happy.
