Some of you need to separate Madden and watching an actual football game.

This x1000

U don't manage a real football game that way.. U have a two TD lead.. U have the momentum.. Not worth the risk going into half..

It's funny because if he would've called a t.o. and Young fumbled it and gave them the score/momentum, this place would freaking explode with the hate for Dooley..

Was it now? Missouri could've thrown a hail mary down the field with no threat of us getting the ball back with any significant time. They must punt if we take the timeout immediately

You need to get some coaching ebooks.
Start with the first one.

With a 14 point lead and all the momentum, it was absolutely the right call. We are scoring at will and that wont change in the second half. Why risk injury, muffed punt, etc? We are about to roll, chill out.

You cannot play stupid and that's exactly what that is. No coach in the SEC would've called a TO there. If they were at their own 30-40 you be aggressive. Not there.

Just so we are clear, you would rather give Mizzou another chance to score then give your exposive offense a chance?

What kind of logic is that?

Something goes wrong and it's 21-14 w/ Mizzou getting the ball to start the half, perhaps another KO TD and it's tied. It's the right call, we're still up 21-7 at half.

1. Franklin hasnt thrown it well all day, what makes you think they would complete?
2. If we take a TO it gives them time to scheme the play you are scared of.

This x1000. The risk reward was not worth calling a timeout there especially when you consider that even if Mizzou did punt it we could very well end up pinned inside the 10 with 40 seconds left.

Not only that, but we could've been pinned inside the 10, and they had all 3 timeouts left. Just think of Palardy punting from the endzone.

Yeah, Missouri was a real threat to score with 8 seconds there.

Are you even listening to yourself? Seriously, read that again.

You would rather give Mizzou a chance to score then Tennessee.

And your telling me not to be dumb. Wow.

No, I would rather go to the locker room up 21-7 and not make a dumb mistake. And that's what we did. Put the xbox controller down.

Mizzou scored from 77 yards out.

Tell me again why you would rather let them have the ball then Bray, Paterson, or Hunter.

First play is a td run, 21-14. That's why you do what Dooley did bf half. So it's not tied right now.

So now you thought they were going to run the ball up the middle on 4th down? Just stop.

You are the one arguing that there was no harm in letting Mizzou have the ball because they are no threat to score. That play alone proves you wrong.

This defensive is one of the worst in Tennessee history and you think it's okay to leave them out there then give the ball one of the best offenses in the country.

They took the timeout and got the play they wanted anyways. If we took a timeout with more time left on the clock it would force them to punt. Are we so damn pathetic that our fans are afraid we cant field a damn punt now?

Dude you are wrong. Get over it.

EVERY time we have time left in the half Dooley lets it run. Our offense can score at least give them a chance for a FG. Makes me livid

If we had a kicker that could kick a field goal it would be a good ideal. But we do not.
