Didn't see this on the board. There's a good clip of Coach Dooley appearing on CBS College Sports today talking with Coach Fulmer and Tom Lemming. Lemming is out there, but the interaction between Fulmer and Dooley is great. Fulmer said he was proud of the way Dooley has represented UT.

Very neat moment right there.

It looks like Fulmer is reading some notes when he first speaks to Dooley...lol...he doesn't even look up until the end.

You can say what you want to say about Fulmer, but he loves Tennessee. I have nothing but respect for the guy . I have a lot of respect for Coach Dooley too. I was glad to hear we have a lot to sell just by being Tennessee. I think he proved that too.

It sounded to me Fulmer was trying to let everybody know how hard it is to recruit here and what a great recruiter he must have been patting himself on the back, eventhough Dooley has all ready stated several times that this place with the all it offers is a easy sale. ..JMO...not Fulmer hater...

Fulmer never once looked at Derek until the end. I thought that was somewhat unclassy. If you look a man in the eyes when you are speaking with him, it typically means you respect him, IMO.

I've noticed that whenever Dooley is mentioned with his dad he kind of makes a little facial expression like it annoys him.

I like that.

I noticed that as well. Was thinking, are you ever gonna look up and address the man like a man.

I thought that was sort of strange too, but I wondered if Phil wasn't aware that he was on camera. Looked like he was dictating off a paper or something.

I had the great luck of seeing and speaking to Coach Fulmer a few years back while he was in my hometown recruiting Chris donald...yeah i know sorry to bring that up..very classy guy and smiled the whole time he was there..saw him at the Vandy BBall game as well. nice to see him back at the University he loved. I grew up during the 90's and vaguely remember the last of the majors era so until last season ole phil was all i knew.

Dooley is going to represent our program with class. I hope we give him the same respect when he goes through his troubles as a head coach at UT.

That's what I'm feeling. Not quite a disrespect thing, but a notes thing.

If he doesn't know when the camera is focused on him, he has a lot to learn.

Look, Fulmer HAD to go, but I sure do respect him. He is a TRUE Tennessean and truly loves the program.
