lol... I don't care anything about 2005. In the current Rivals era (2002-present) he is the highest ranked DT by Rivals to play at UT. How you can even attempt to argue that is beyond me...

I'm not arguing that, I'm asking where he was ranked when he actually got on campus in January 2005.

Why are you arguing about something so trivial?

This is the nation info. It has Phillips at #9 and O'Brien at #12.

It also has McCullers as the #6 overall JUCO. #1 JUCO DT

The guy Bama has at number 39 will look like a first round pick in their defense. FSU cleaned up also. Shat! But, next to them and Bama, you have to rank our class of dlinemen (with Phillips) third at worst. Second at best. Negavols must respect that. V,B!

actually McCullers, O'Brien and Phillips were all buttered up and ready to commit when Dooley was hired... so he just did a good job of holding onto them, but really most other teams didn't have room for them so they didn't really have other options.

You have fully entered the clueless zone. We got lucky with Phillips, but the other two were pretty solid and had other options.

Wow. Didn't seem like we did that good on dt's. But I guess with the Phillips addition we did. Ended up signing a 3* lb and a 4* dt after signing day. Awesome. We're getting some depth...and already had a few top level talents returning

Wrong there big guy. McCullers went deep into his recruitment and was no where close to being a lock when CDD was hired. Phillips was UF bound, but O'Brien may have been the only one but still CDD had his work cut out.
