I don't disagree. But I also think there are only a certain set of coaches that could rebuild from where we were and given the totality of circumstances, which includes competing against Saban, Richt, Spurrier, Mullen, etc with recruiting disadvantages against our biggest competition. We need a special coach. Everyman isn't going to cut it.
Sparty....you had me until Mullen.
Think about all of your issues with our secondary play and Sunseri (and you are hearing the same things I am about his coaching), and then consider how many defensive backs UT has recruited recently.
Dooley has managed to find enough scholarship players to field a team. He hired a great RB coach and a good OL coach. Otherwise he has been behind the curve.
There is a long list of affordable coaches that could have done more than Dooley has done.
