but just like it is all about the economy stupid its all about recruiting stupid and so far that is a major ?????? with our 2011 outreach. He got a good class but frankly X and the early enrollees made the class. Kudos for Stone, Darick and Hunter however.

If the Tennessee faithful and administration allow this guy five years, which is what I believe any college coach should be given, the fanbase will again be united. This guy is class personified. Dooley will guide this program to the top the right way. If we give him time guys; this coach will win, big, at Tennessee.

Did dooley announce any uniform changes for the season, or if UT will do some blackouts?

If all you do is love em and hug em your gonna have some happy people, but your not gonna win many football games.

As far as uniforms go we will be wearing camouflage and Orange mix, with the old logo on the helmets. He didn't actually say that but it's what I took from the first 10 minutes.

If his contract was 6 he'd have to stink it up bad not to get 3. 5 if it's average, which was cause for others to ask is the later worse for UT. I don't think he'll be bad but there are some vocal ones that do.

I have to admit, his personality is infectious!! He also seems verrrrry methodical in his approach to coaching and building a program. He touched on aspects of running a program that frankly, I've never heard a coach touch on. I am very excited for our program!

I wasn't all gaga over Kiffin when we got him and am not all hating on him now. What surprised and bothered me from the start about Kiffin was how inarticulate he was. His mumbling and mono-tone delivery not to mention some of the actual content made me cringe.

Nice to have an articulate coach...hope he's as good a coach as he is in the press room.

Hooray for that. It bothered me too...he was a mumbler who swallowed his words, ends of sentences and looked away or sideways too much. Not a "low talker" exactly ....but a mumbler.

Hope Coach Dooley has much success-with the Vols especially.

I love this guy! I'm more and more impressed every time he speaks. He's articulate, smart, funny, and a class act.

"Speaking well" and producing big time wins in the SEC are different things. Hopefully, his speaking ability is the same as his coaching ability against florida, bama and georgia.

What impressed me most is that he continued to stress he is building a program and not just a football team. The best teams come from a solid program and that is what UT needs is a geat program. And he is so very correct about the need to manage the players on and off the field. I loved the comments about the hole in the head, and making stupid choices. I was very impressed.
