I have to say I'm impressed...if the guy is even half as impressive on the sideline he'll bring glory back to the Big Orange.

I've got a tear in my eye! This guy is gonna do great things for us! Kinda strange not to hear him bragging on himself like Coach X-Hole did!

After listening to these three segments and the earlier ones as well I can see why Mike Hamilton thought he would be great for our University. He is exactly what we need after the last staff. I don't know about his x's and o's just yet and I will wait till the orange and white game before I begin to form an opinion about that but I believe one of his biggest attributes will be stability which is what this organization needs. It needs for the players we have now and will help in recruiting as players realize that the coaching situation will no longer be volitile in knoxville. I think the internal structure he learned from Saban will be a great asset. Go Vols.....

I liked the reference "I'm not hiding" that was played on the radio yesterday, that was kinda funny. I believe I heard on the radio yesterday that the next media opportunity to speak with Coach Dooley is March. Go get 'em coach. The ninja has shown himself.

I wasn't all gaga over Kiffin when we got him and am not all hating on him now. What surprised and bothered me from the start about Kiffin was how inarticulate he was. His mumbling and mono-tone delivery not to mention some of the actual content made me cringe.

Nice to have an articulate coach...hope he's as good a coach as he is in the press room.

Has anyone who watched the videos notice how it seems like Dooley is a lot more comfortable like cracking jokes and having fun and really feeling the team? I'm guessing it's b/c he's been with the team for some time now and gotten to know the players really good and he's really starting to feel the place and how it's "his" team. The first couple of pressers he was kind of like that, but hadn't actually had any length of time with the team and to me it kind of showed. So far I'm liking the direction we're heading. Hopefully, we can dominate on the field as well.

it's odd that an articulate coach such as Dooley doesn't seem to want to talk to the press very much. Glad to have someone who knows how to handle them. Let's hope he can handle the players just as well. i'm already on the bus and can't wait for football season

The man has a genuine, magnetic personality.

Tru dat! I love his persona. I just hope he can succeed as our coach. It would be great to be a national power again with CDD as our coach. Love the part about his reference to knowing the NCAA rules & regulations. I truly think CDD loves UT, & is eager to prove himself to the UT faithful.
