"LSU snapped the ball fast and we didn't have enough time to get our substitutions right."

Ummmmm...hello?? LSU killed half a minute before the ball was snapped!!!

He needs to spend more time coaching rather than actin like Trooper Taylor on the sideline.

What? There was 24 seconds when Jefferson went down! They didn't snap the ball till 3 seconds. What a sorry excuse. Just say "We ****in screwed this up."

You guys really need to watch more football.

They weren't going to sub until LSU subbed, and they snapped the ball too fast after they subbed. That is what he is talking about

I can believe that, but he needs to clarify. He still had some time.

Yeah - learn to understand the context. They didn't know whether Jefferson or Lee was going to run the play or what look they were going to give them.

Either way - it was still probably better to not sub period there.

My thought...he did just also say we were only up by 3 on the fourth down call. Giving a pass due to emotional roller coaster.

Who could have predicted that LSU would snap the ball quickly while trailing with under 5 seconds remaining?

It was a break down in communication from the coaches on down through the players with each other

A smart coach would have left the personnel in there and trusted that Miles would screw up as he always does.

Dooley was saying the rule is that if the offense subs, the refs must give the defense enough time to sub as well. Said he had the same problem in the first half when they ended up having to call TO, and Dooley had brought up the same issue with the ref after that play.

They did have enough time to sub...

13 players were set and ready to go.

Maybe you should watch more, we had time to sub, was a big mistake in doing so anyway, there was confusion in the sub, and 2 players turned around and went back out.

Everyone in the country new Jefferson was going to run the ball!! Substitution lost the game no I take that back rushing 3 on 4th down and in zone lost the game! Leaves middle of field wide open
