"The Advanced Football School of Beatdown Learning."

It still surprises me how a disciple of Saban in every other way is so brutally honest when he gets up in front of the cameras. There's no coachspeak in him at all.

Sh!t happens,,CDD tells like it as always. If Tyler can come back and get us to six wins then you understand what this team has taken on with the injuries. Clicking my pen wondering if we can make bowl game. I can't see our Vols doing anything else but beating vandy and ky. GBO

I got about thirty seconds into this before I had to check to make sure I wasnt watching the same pressed from UF, Bama, SC, LSU, and UGA. Same BS, different week! Zero progress......

It should be different "bs" when next week when we get back one of the better QB's in the conference.

I agree. I was and still am a Dooley supporter but this is just tough to watch. I really wish i could see some real expression of emotion from him. This is not the standards of a University of Tennessee team! plain and simple. I dont care how young and inexperienced we are. Someone has to start taking credibility sometime!

What do you want him to do? He obviously can't smile, clap, and brag about his coaches or players performance.

We gain nothing from him going all "Dennis Green".

No other options than be honest and forward about what he's asked. If I was the coach at UT with his situation, schedule, injuries, and piss poor results...I probably wouldnt even show up.

Fire Dooley! Cut the losses now and move on this guy sucks.

Who can you bring in with any ability if you fire him after two years?

I don't think the guy should ever have gotten the job. We owe that to an AD who apparently put a premium on surname over proven ability. And I doubt he has it in him to bring Tennessee back. But we need to give him the time to do the job. If he doesn't get that time, then we'll have a small pool of applicants to choose from this go around.

If he fails, then I don't want the buzz in coaching circles to be that he never got a real chance at Tennessee.

To get in a real coach, we have to suck it up with the current coach and give him time. Thanks again, Hammy.

This should have happened in 08. If you want Fulmer out, then let him 'retire' at years end. He should not have been dumped like gargbage. That honor should be reserved for coaches with losing records. For coaches who never did win anything. For coaches who have NOT littered the NFL with players for 20 years. For coaches who don't have multiple school and conference records---- Nearly every coach has fallen off at some point (as Fulmer clearly did). But only a minuscule percentage of them accomplish what Fulmer did in the SEC (100 games over, BCS title). He did not have to be done like that. It was a CHOICE to fire him mid-season. A horrible CHOICE, one which we will pay for until we convince a "REAL" coach to come here. Which we SURE as **** didn't after we dumped Fulmer.

It's the thing about him that I like the most. He just says it like it really is.
