Dooley Plays Nicey-Me No Likey

I got an idea. Why don't you jump on everyone of Hat's or SGM's or Crusse's posts and act like you bring something intelligent to the conversation? Oh wait, you do that daily.

Why not jump in on the Dooley sheep bandwagon and act like the WAC is equivalent to the SEC in terms of level of competition and Dooley is the second coming of Neyland? Oh, wait, you already do that.

I don't care if Dooley kicks Meyer in the shin or invites him over for Sunday dinner... I just want him to beat him on the field. Maybe the disarming approach will cause Meyer to let his guard down? Maybe the lawyer in Dooly is reading Meyer while they talk and logging weaknesses? Maybe he's just a good sportsman?

Exactly. I was thrilled when UF hired Zook and Bama hired Shula. And it sure as Hell wasn't because they were going to bring those programs back to prominence.

If Jeremy Foley hired Derek Dooley when Urban Meyer "retired," the entire Tennessee fanbase would have laughed for the next 24 hours.

I love when people talk about Tennessee's resources giving Dooley a better chance than he had at Tech. Do think think Fresno State and Nevada have palatial weight rooms? Do they think Alabama and Florida are training in shanties?

It's only a matter of time until Idaho and Utah State compete for those crystal footballs.

What? When? When did I act that way? I could post plenty of your posts where you respond to all your heros (SGM, Hat, Crusse) with comments like "But why bring up facts" or "Details, Details". You follow the Kiffin Krew blindly without bringing up anything of value. I disagree with those guys but at least they bring something to the table. You might as well be a USC fan.

I was totally behind Kiffin while he was here, and was sure that TN was headed back to championships in a few years with that staff. He is gone.

I am cautiously optimistic about CDD, but have to see his team on the field against UF, ALA, UGA, etc. and see the end result of this year’s recruiting class before I give my final prediction.

But Tenacious D wants you to go on the record!

Let me get this straight. Pretending like Kiffin was the worst thing to ever happen to our program after we all cheered him on for a year means absolutely nothing? Thanks for clearing that up.

I agree with this. That still doesn't mean he wouldn't have been successful at Florida. It certainly doesn't have anything to do with whether or not he will be successful at Tennessee.
